Individuals-

1. Britten Petrey (Jr.) Schaumburg-
took back the #1 overall spot by the way of a solid victory over a small but talented Hoffman Estates Regional field.  There were several top ranked girls among the finishing top 5.  One of them was freshman star Brooke Wolfe of Mt. Prospect (Prospect).  Petrey was joined by Wolfe among others for the first two miles before pulling away with about a half-mile to go and the ten second victory in 18:13.

2. Brooke Wolfe (Fr.) Mt. Prospect (Prospect)- placed second at Hoffman Estates to Britten Petrey of Schaumburg.  Wolfe ran virtually stride for stride with Petrey for the first two miles before losing a shoe in the mud.  The freshman sensation was able to hold on for second place in 18:23.

3. Sarah McIntosh (Jr.) Palatine-
once again home cooking was the remedy to upset previously #1 Olivia Jones of Buffalo Grove at the Palatine Regional.  McIntosh appears to have gotten back on track a supposeded mid-season slump.

4. Olivia Jones (So.) Buffalo Grove- finished second to Sarah McIntosh at the Palatine Regional.  Jones ran a swift 17:00 for 2.95 miles.

5. Amanda Fox (So.) Naperville Central- won the Naperville North regional by six seconds over Wheaton-Warrenville South's emerging freshman McKenna Kiple.

6. Lavinia Jurkiewicz (Sr.) Chicago Whitney Young- just keeps rolling along.  The smiley Dolphin star appeared to have more problems with the inclement weather than with the competition.  The 50-second victory at the Whitney Young Regional said it all.

7. Marie O'Leary (Sr.) Normal Community- defeated her teammate Carly Pederson for the first time in several weeks.  O'Leary is defending Normal West Regional champ who used the course to her advantage despite running step for step and communicating with Pederson.

8. Carly Pederson (Fr.) Normal Community- placed second to teammate Marie O'Leary by one second in 17:57.

9. Annette White (Sr.) Mt. Prospect (Prospect)- IDLE; did not compete at Hoffman Estates Regional due to a sore shin.

10. Meghan Frigo (Sr.) Elmhurst (York)-
won Lake Park Regional by 20 seconds.

11. Haley Verbecke (Fr.) Moline-
finished a strong third at Normal West Regional behind O'Leary and Pederson.

12. Kelly Whitley (Jr.) Geneva- continues to move back up the ranking charts with comfy West Aurora Regional victory.

13. Christina Gastfield (Jr.) Rolling Meadows-
stayed with lead pack the majority of the race at Hoffman Estates before settling for 4th place.

14. Kim Christensen (Sr.) Orland Park (Sandburg)- won Marist Regional big over Ashley Sellers of Chicago Marist.

15. Kelsey Kilrea (Sr.) LaGrange (Lyons Twp)- IDLE; did not compete at Lyons Regional.

16. Megan O'Brien (So.) Lockport-
won Bolingbrook Regional big.

17. Ashley Seller (Sr.) Chicago (Marist)- second at Marist Regional.
