The Woodruff Invitational Cross Country meet on Sept. 11th, 2010 would love to host any and all teams.
As in the past, races are run in the same format as the Illinois state meet. This year in addtion to Women and Men A, AA, AAA and Open races,
we are adding Women and Men Fresh/Soph races complete with team trophies and medals.
Woodruff High is closing, but the Woodruff Invitational will live on.

In 2010, Urbana High School will be hosting its 67th Annual Urbana Boys Track Open. The meet will be held on Saturday, April 17th,
and will begin at 9:30 am. Because the meet is an open, we will run some additional events.
We will have Frosh-Soph competition in all four of the relays and the six field events.
Awards will be given out in both divisions for places 1st through 5th. Trophies will be award to the first place team in the varsity and

It will be a regular Varsity invite with F/S Relays and an Exhibition 200m during the semi-finals for athletes not competing in the meet.

Homewood-Flossmoor High School is looking to expand it’s yearly girls’ outdoor invitational from 16 teams to 24 teams in 2010.
The meet will take place on Saturday, April 10th, 2010 with a start time of 10:00 a.m. Our facility consists of a new 8-lane track with F.A.T.
Schools are allowed two entries for each individual event, and a varsity and junior varsity relay for each relay. Athletes are allowed to compete in both levels.
In order to make the expansion happen, we would need at least 20 teams committed to avoid running small heats or cutting down the number of teams in the
2nd heat to ensure there are at least 3 teams in the 3rd.
Our goal is to create one of the elite outdoor invites in Illinois.
The invite is already extremely competitive (2009 teams are listed below) and we are looking forward to making the competition even better.
